Shruti Hassan was born on 28 January, 1986 in Chennai India. She is a daughter of a very famoous actor Kamal Hassan and  mother sarika. She has one younger sister named Akshara.


Shruti Complete her lower education at the Lady Andal School in Chennai then she moved to Mumbai to Read psychology at St Andrew's College.She want to focus on music and cinema for that she travelled to the USA to continue to learn music at the Musicians Institute in California, before returning to Chennai.


As a child artiste, she sang in films and also appeared in a guest role. At the age of just six year she sang of her first song in her father's film Thevar Magan in the composition of IIaiyaraja. After that she sang two songs again in her father's film, one was in famous film Chachi 420, singing a duet performing for the voice of a child, with her father Kamal Haasan, and second was in film Hey Ram, where she sang the bilingual versions of the title theme, Rama Rama with her father, in hindi and Tamil.


In Bollywood career Shruti Hassan was signed up to Soham Shah's Luck opposite Imran Khan. She also acting in Telugu film Anaganaga O Dheerudu in january 2011. She also give her voice to nonprofit organization for HIV/AIDS education animated software tutorial.

Sushmita Sen was born in the Bengali-speaking Sen family on November 19, 1975 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.
